Bulgarian guitarist Julieta Veleva was born in 1992 in Plovdiv. Since her childhood, she has been learning piano and singing from her parents. Julieta began playing guitar at the age of 9 under the tuition of Prof. Stela Miteva-Dinkova. Then she continues her studies in guitar with Milena Vulcheva and piano at NUMTI “Dobrin Petkov“ Music School in Plovdiv. She completed a Bachelor’s degree with Honors at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts Plovdiv under prof. Stela Miteva-Dinkova.
Julieta has attended several international guitar competitions and festivals. Also she has taken masterclasses under Marcin Dylla, Tzvetan Stoyanov, Sania Milotinovic-Guduric, Georgi Vassilev, Armin Jeger, Erik Franceries, Maya Radovanliya. With more than seventheen years of experience, Julieta Veleva has been awarded first prizes in several prestigious international competitions, and she is titled one of the most talented and prominent musicians of his age. Since 2016 she has been living in Berlin and studying master of classical guitar (with Tsvetan Stoyanov) at the Berlin University of the Arts. Julieta has many years of experience in teaching starting in her hometown Plovdiv and nowadays in Berlin. In Berlin she is a pedagogue at a three private schools.
